THE BONE GARDEN - Tess Gerritsen

Last night, I had the delightful opportunity to meet NY Times bestselling author, Tess Gerritsen, who was on tour at the local Barnes & Noble for THE BONE GARDEN. I've been a huge fan of Tess's for years and we've had several e-mail exchanges over the challenges facing authors including reviews that are less than kind and fans that are more than zealous.

Tess is somewhat of a paradox - petite, charming, feminine, reserved - until she begins describing the gorey details of what the amputation of a limb was like in the 1820's before anesthesia. She clearly has a love of research and combines her medical background along with her passion for writing to deliver another bestseller that she describes as a "love story."

Thanks, Tess, for a delightful and entertaining evening and hope you enjoy your copy of THE BLACK WIDOW AGENCY.
